Laser Tattoo Removal
Lasers have become the gold standard treatment for tattoo removal because they offer a bloodless, low risk, effective alternative with minimal side effects. Our Certified Laser Specialists use the latest state of the art equipment and techniques offered in the laser tattoo removal industry.
The Quanta Q-Plus C is the only FDA approved laser on the market that offers three distinct wavelengths, therefore, it is the only laser that can successfully remove a full spectrum of color. Green, red, blue and black pigments can be removed faster, effectively and safely. The Quanta Q-Plus series provides much higher performances when compared to other Q switched lasers currently on the market.
The Q-Plus C is attracted to the ink within the tissue and it then solidifies the ink and breaks it up into smaller pieces so your lymphatic system can digest it, accelerating the natural process. Our lasers are used in conjunction with the Zimmer Cyro 6 which cools the area before, during and after your treatment to control any discomfort with great results!
Each procedure is done within our office in a series of visits. Depending on the density of the tattoo, age of the tattoo and your skin, will determine the amount of treatments that will be needed for a successful outcome. Safe, effective, quick, and easy, we ensure the highest standard of treatment with minimal risk of scarring providing the absolute gold standard and best technology on the market.

Laser Tattoo Removal FAQs
Quanta Q-Plus C, the only 3 true wave length Q-switched system available in the world. It has the capabilities to remove full color, administering more power, with less adverse reaction. Antiquated circular light has unevenly distributed energy and hot spots, which has the tendency to break open the skin, severely blister the tissue which leads to scarring. Quanta’s square beam distributes the energy evenly in the tissue, leaving no hot spots and twice the energy to break up your tattoo.
When you come into Millennium Medical for a FREE consult, your skin will be assessed to the type of tattoo, the amount of color concentration and the experience of the technician that placed the tattoo. All of these factors will be taken into consideration during your assessment. With the latest in technology and technique, there is a less than 5% chance of scarring to the treated areas with our Quanta. If existing scar tissue is present from the application of your tattoo, you will be informed at the time of your consult.
It is easier to remove tattoos from the parts of your body that have more circulation, or that are closer to the heart. For example, it would be easier to remove something on the belly, neck, or chest compared to a finger or toe.
This depends on your tattoo – its size, color, and the depth of penetration of the ink among other factors. An amateur tattoo may need 2-5 treatments. A professional multi-colored design might need 5-12 or more treatments. One purpose of our FREE consultation is to discuss how many treatments are necessary to remove your unique tattoo.
We use the same, state of the art Cooling System used in the most plastic surgery centers. It applies chilled air to the treatment site to minimize your discomfort. It may sting a little and most say it feels like having an elastic band snapped against your skin.
