Amy Vidaurri, Licensed Laboratory Assistant
Amy Vidaurri is a State Licensed Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomist and Laser Specialist who believes that regular monitoring of blood work helps our community maintain optimal health.
Amy has worked locally in many aspects of the healthcare field over the last twenty years, including working as an Emergency Medical Technician, Components/Pheresis technician for United Blood Services, Laboratory Supervisor in a local Oncology/Hematology office, as well as, a Certified Nursing Aide in ICU, Medical Telemetry and for Home Hospice patients.
In her free time, Amy contributes to non-profit organizations which support community wellness programs. She helps to raise funds for organizations such as Moms on the Run, Relay for Life and Nevada Project Heartbeat. Nevada Project Heartbeat’s mission is to save lives through promotion of early defibrillation, education in sudden cardiac arrest and promotion of training in AED / CPR; all for the citizens and visitors throughout the great state of Nevada.
In 1987, Amy moved with her family to be raised in Carson City, NV. Amy stayed in the area to raise her own family and is married to her wonderful husband Reuben, who spends his spare time on the football field of Douglas High School, donating his coaching skills to the awesome Douglas Tigers.
